Driver who rammed bicyclists in Arizona race has DUI historyPHOENIX (AP) — Authorities on Monday identified the man accused of plowing his pickup truck into a group of bicyclists taking part in a weekend race in an Arizona mountain town, critically injuring several riders, and court records show he has a criminal history of driving while intoxicated. This guy's record included: -Aggravated assault -Disorderly conduct with a weapon -Felony aggravated DUI -Shoplifting He did jail time, but I'll bet he got no counseling to abate his antisocial behavior. I read the piece and now I'm wondering what it takes to get a lifetime driving ban in Arizona. Ugh. Bad enough we have to deal with people not paying attention, or feeling like the road is theirs because they're a motorist, but also being targeted. Hope everyone makes it through and is able to recover fully.
