WHAT THE HELL IS HAPPENING NOW?!!!! What’s next? Fast and Furious 11 directed by Celine Sciamma?

Well done him. He's an interesting director and it is nice to see him getting a good payday between his other films. Or a bigger platform for his voice.👏🏾👍🏾

Rebecca is quite bad (and unnecessary) but Free Fire, High Rise and Kill List all suggest a dude who could knock some killer shark schlock out of the park.

Can we get a more serious tone film without the forced awkward humor and cliches and just be a horror shark film.. you know.. like the book?

Strange choice but I’m slightly more interested than I was before

What?

The first one sucked!

Is Ben still directing Tomb Raider 2?

A Giant Shark in England.

I hope it’s better than the first. The acting was terrrrrible.

Ben Wheatley can do better than these big dumb sequels nobody asked for tbh. He's a good director, give him good projects to work on.

Who watched this shit anyway

Wheatley I suddenly give a fuck. Here's hoping he's allowed to run wild with it without too much interference.

As long as the film ends with Stath driving into a sharks mouth and cutting out its heart from the inside.

Jesus Ben, needing the money THAT much?

typhoondon AshTag84 can we please go see it

I really loved The Meg as I found it to be a fun shark movie that was perfect for the summer! I really hope they bring back the survivors from the last movie as well as Ruby Rose & Li Bingbing alongside Jason Statham also lets have a lot more megaladon sharks this time! So hyped!

The shark goes to eat Statham before Michael Smiley shows up and they have an awkward conversation while a weird Portishead song

They should call it SMEG!!

Hollywood just dishing out unworthy sequels eh

Didn’t Hitchcock do a giant shark sequel right after he did REBECCA? 🤪

EmmaAtTheMovies

I will not watch Jason Statham fight a shark again. There's a line. This it.

The Meg Takes Shrooms and Eats the Rich In a Weapons Deal Gone Wrong

Hahahaha, his filmography is WILD

Wow he’s going down the drain

Well, that's one way to sell out.

Oh No....

One weird combo, I love it

WTF?

Soooo... What about Tomb Raider? Didn't they want to start that in February?

1st one was guilty pleasure Hopefully this will be a bit serious

No way

🤢

Maybe 'Meg 2' will actually follow one of the book's storylines this time? 🤔

What about Tomb Raider?

that's a genre whiplash

Is it April Fool's Day already..?

Armie Hammer and Lily James Insist Netflix’s ‘Rebecca’ Is Not Remake of Alfred Hitchcock’s Oscar-Winning FilmDespite being based on the same novel, Netflix’s latest thriller “Rebecca” is not a remake of Alfred Hitchcock’s Oscar-award winning film from 1940. Hitchcock’s “Rebecca” is… Tough shoes to fill, but Maxim in this version is way too charming. He’s supposed to be aloof, a hot head... The character’s toxic traits are very toned down and we don’t ever really fear him. So the whole thing loses steam after it takes off. ahammerdaily Armie was just perfect as Maxim. The aura, the charisma, the charm...he has it all. I loved and enjoyed it thoroughly. 😍 Thank god - I like seeing actors put their own spin on the role, and Armie did a fantastic job.
