She’s rough as steel, calluses from climbing the rope.” He pointed to a cut in the fence. “I see them go through the hole. Even if they put barbed wire around it, people cut into it.
Railroads have their own police with guns and full arrest powers. Kind of a big deal they're nowhere to be found. 😲

Where are the police--where are the railroad police-where are the federal authorities--where is the local, state federal administration? This is a national disgrace!
Not mentioned… Union Pacific laid off a large number of workers, including railroad police, in September 2020. Two months later, the thefts began to increase. From 2019 to 2021, Union Pacific reduced their security and workforce by nearly 5000 employees.
