San Antonio chef and The Good Kind owner Tim McDiarmid is one of nine women featured in"Lead Like a Woman: Audacity," set to release Jan. 11.San Antonio chef, owner and entrepreneur Tim McDiarmid is one of nine authors featured in a new book titled"Lead Like a Woman: Audacity," composed by Andrea Heuston, meant to inspire women in all phases of life.

The focus of the book, set to release Jan. 11, is to instill empowerment through the authors' stories of their female-owned businesses and leadership journeys. McDiarmid is the founder of The Good Kind Hospitality Group and is a major player in the San Antonio catering scene. She runs a restaurant in Southtown calledthat has food made with the freshest of ingredients with a charming outdoor seating area.

McDiarmid has been a fixture in the San Antonio food scene for many years and was a contestant on the Food Network show"Chopped" in 2021. She lost, but put up a heck of a fight. She also was designated with having one of the best grilled cheese sandwiches in the Express-News' 52 Weeks of Sandwiches series.A new book titled"Lead Like a Woman: Audacity" features a chapter by San Antonio chef and founder of The Good Kind Hospitality Group Tim McDiarmid.
