It’s complicated. If you’re an independent-minded Federal Prosecutor then the answer is “a lot”. If you’re under Trump’s thumb: a little to nothing. If you’re Trump then you think Stone’s sentence should be “pardon”.
The judge is not bound by prosecutors' recommendations. Given the near if not treasonous conduct of Stone, perhaps the court will decide on reconsideration that a seven to nine years sentence is inadequate and raise it to the maximum available under sentencing guidelines.
Does it matter? Trump will pardon in December.

At this rate, until we see some Justice on Comey, McCabe, Brennen, then I see no reason Stone should be sentenced! In fact he should have a new trial! If the Judge continues forward w/this and Stone is sentenced, I hope well be seeing an appeal! The whole thing is crazy!
What I believe is if Trump wants a multiple-murderer’s sentencing reduced, some judges in the DOJ will find some sanctimonious reasoning and conditions in laws to white wash the sentence too!
