The calls for gun reform follow every school shooting. Here's what they've led to.

In the more than two decades since the Columbine High School tragedy made school shootings a part of American life, federal gun control legislation has not seen many changes, according to Lisa Geller, a state affairs advisor at the Johns Hopkins Center for Gun Violence Solutions. But the mass-casualty events involving children at school typically bring the loudest calls for reform. Here's a breakdown of the legislative efforts in the aftermath of some of the most high-profile and deadliest school shootings in the U.S. since Columbine: As families in Uvalde grieve the 19 fourth-graders and two teachers gunned down at Robb Elementary School, the National Rifle Association is hosting its annual convention 300 miles away in Houston.

Change will not come until we stop electing old bigots. We need to elect more progressive’s in congress and as governors. Old men are stuck in the past. They literally hate change. Gun control begins with us. We need younger more progressive candidates.

Leave America, if you can. It’s a challenge but not impossible. Best decision I ever made, in hindsight.

Maybe need to use Chicago's gun laws as an example.

Bad argument

I am so tired of hearing you gun manufacturers and supporters using the word 'GUN' for a semiautomatic 'WEAPON'. In the military, if call your weapon a gun, you better be ready for a 25 mile run. An A-15 is a weapon, a killing machine, not a gun.

It’s a stupid pattern because politicians keep looking at guns as the problem when the real problem is people. Address mental health, fatherless homes, violent social media echo chambers. Even the way authorities handled (or didn’t) what led up to those shootings. Address that.

Don’t forget “doing nothing”

Yea cuz criminals will for sure follow newer gun restrictions 🙄
