What to watch for during Texas' annual Orange-White spring game at Royal-Memorial...

Don’t read anything into who handles the first snap under center.

“I like where that position is today from where we were a year ago,” Sarkisian said. “I just think we're at a place right now where we're playing very good football at the position. I think at times we need to be a little a little better around them, but that's all part of the growth.” All the quarterbacks will be in non-contact jerseys, and Texas still has a handful of high-profile offensive lineman arriving this summer, so Saturday won’t represent the clearest picture of where the Longhorns’ pass rush is at right now. Still, it’ll be interesting to see how the defensive linemen and edge rushers have developed, particularly senior T’Vondre Sweat, junior Alfred Collins, redshirt sophomore Vernon Broughton and sophomore Byron Murphy.

On the other side of the ball, Ohio State transfer cornerback Ryan Watts is trending up, and early enrollee edge defender Justice Finkley has started coming on strong. The latter is a true longshot starter, but he could become an important rotational piece even as a true freshman.Star junior Bijan Robinson is managing a mild ankle sprain and will be “limited” Saturday, per Sarkisian. Senior halfback Roschon Johnson probably doesn’t need too many touches, either.

Analysis: Texas’ new standard is abortions for those who can afford to leave Texas.rossramsey writes: The Texas ban on abortions after six weeks effectively makes abortions illegal for most pregnant people – but not everyone. Just those who can afford to travel out-of-state or to other countries. rossramsey If you even know you’re pregnant within two weeks of a missed period (if your cycles are regular.) rossramsey The poor remain without resource. The hope of the wealthy anti-choice is more newborn adoption (which is NOT pregnancy choice) and that adoption will generate thousands and thousands of dollars for the private agency broker. It's money, not caring about a fetus. voteblue rossramsey I hope 🤞🏾 someone sues the state for child support: for a forced pregnancy.
