Tenn. Couple: Christian Agency Nixed Adoption Because We’re Jewish

Thereports that Elizabeth and Gabriel Rutan-Ram’s lawsuit comes weeks after the agency, Holston United Methodist Home for Children, sued the federal government over regulations that prohibit religious discrimination in taxpayer-funded programs.

Elizabeth Rutan-Ram said that after Holston said it would not assist in the adoption process, “I felt like I’d been punched in the gut.” She added, “And it was very hurtful that the agency seemed to think that a child would be better off in state custody than with a loving family like us.”

Notice how’s it those that are most vocal about being Christian that always act in the most un-Christian of ways?

I hope the suit puts them out of the foster and adoption business. Consequences, baby!

We have all come to expect nothing less from this 'christian' cult. Sue the shit out of them and get a huge monitary award and get their license removed.

We all knew it wouldn't stop at LGBTQ parents. These types of laws were always meant to create legal discrimination based on faith. The real question is when will the Feds do something? Oh you have discriminatory laws on the books? Say bye bye to federal funding of any kind.

Sick beyond measure. Racism, anti- Jew, anti- Muslim, anti-Oriental, anti- Catholic -what troubled time we live in. But I count on particular Dem.Politicians to continue to fight this illness. Out front are Senator Rev. Warnock, Cong. Schiff, Cong. Raskin, Congwoman Pressley.

You should be able to deny somebody the ability to foster a child based on their religious beliefs.. Absolutely. Satanism is on the rise globally. ... Would you allow people to adopt with those religious beliefs? So then.. where do you draw the line? Slippery slope.
