Alon Aranya and his Paper Plane Productions have signed a multi-year, first-look deal with Apple. Under the pact, he'll develop and produce scripted series for the company's TV+ streaming platform., which premiered Sept. 25 on Apple TV+, is an espionage thriller from writer Moshe Zonder . It follows a Mossad agent who goes deep undercover on a dangerous mission in Tehran that places her and everyone around her in dire jeopardy.
Aranya executive produces the show with co-creator Dana Eden, Shula Spiegel, Julien Leroux, Peter Emerson and Eldad Koblenz. Zonder, Eden and Maor Kohn created the show. Zonder and Omri Shenhar writ, and Daniel Syrkin directs. Aranya has set up a host of shows at studios and networks in the United States, most of them based on international formats.
