Teenage activist Mya-Rose Craig protests on the Arctic ice floe to 'try and make a statement about how temporary this amazing landscape is'

ABOARD ‘ARCTIC SUNRISE’ - Like many of her generation, Mya-Rose Craig feels strongly that adults have failed to take the urgent action needed to tackle global warming and so she has headed to the Arctic Ocean to protest.

The strikes, made famous by Swedish campaigner Greta Thunberg, are resuming after a lull caused by the global coronavirus pandemic to draw public attention back to the threat posed by climate change. “I absolutely think that my generation has always had to think about climate change... which is why as we’ve got older there’s been this massive wave of just this need for change, this demand for change when we realised the grown-ups aren’t going to solve this so we have to do it ourselves.”

She has travelled hundreds of miles above the Arctic Circle aboard a Greenpeace ship, Arctic Sunrise.Climate data shows the Arctic is one of the fastest changing ecosystems on the planet, with serious consequences for wildlife from polar bears and seals to plankton and algae, while the melting sea ice contributes to rising sea levels worldwide.

Looks pretty cold to me

Modern activism: Embarking on an exciting adventure that makes you feel good about yourself. I mean, the cause could be just as well. But that's not the main thing.

another one

How she reached that place without contaminating?

lmfao, what a tool

How does she get there? A fossil fuel powered big ship paid by her god damn rich dad. That's youth power

Leave her there...

“youth strike” 🤦‍♂️ it’s embarrassing to see this trick played again. lacks originality and is a few years too late. Greta’s done it from all angles and milked it dry. Plus she had so many copycats... Plot has holes as well - used fossil fuels to get there, etc.. Overall score 3/10

How much oil was burnt to take this lady to the Artic?

Pssssst... It's as Hoax.

Well, there you go. Another teen striking their tough life for the weather. I’m convinced. 🤦‍♂️

Did she use gas to get there?

I'm lauding the teenage environmental activist Mya-Rose Craig who has had to embark on such an adventurous task. Uniquely worth underpinning as far as campaigns on climate change are concerned has been the youthful exurberance brought to the mix by highly inquisitive teenagers.

L O L AF

Took several thousand mile journey on a vehicle that no doubt ran on fossil fuels in order to hold a sign and take a picture. Great job combating climate change. This line of thinking lines up well with the Cuties filming.

What's with the 'Youth Strike' we are all humans living on the earth regardless of age.

BRILLIANT ....

lmao. How did she get there? by plane and then boat? sounds really good for the environment.

Reuters announces the gravy train.

appealing and emotionally engaging, i bet, still haven't watched it, still don't cared about these 2 dimensionals

braindead

Let’s come back in six months and check to see if she and the ice are still there.

Ljepa

How much carbon did Mya-Rose Craig burn to go all the way to the Arctic to get her picture taken?

May the Human awaken before it is too late ...

How did she get there?

She's wearing $2000 worth of petroleum-based clothing

Greta poser

LOL

think about this, most climate agitators are kids whose brains aren't developed yet. Money interests are behind them, pulling strings. The kids have been brain washed
