Parents Defending Education director of outreach Erika Sanzi discusses the ongoing battle between teachers unions and parents on 'Fox Business Tonight.'
The ‘Varney & Co.' host asked Perkins why she chose Costco, to which Perkins explained that she enjoys "everything" about the company - and that she has been a member since she was a "kid.""We grew up going to Costcos, and so I've always known that Costco employees are treated well and have a high quality of life. So when there was a new Costco being built in my town, I immediately applied.
Former teacher Maggie Perkins shared her decision to change career paths on social media platform, TikTok. Her video went viral, and accrued over 4 million views since she posted it on Christmas Eve of 2022., when chaos ensued over a computer malfunction. He argued that situations of this nature could contribute to employee fatigue, but Perkins maintained that she has "not experienced burnout" while working at Costco.
"As a teacher," Perkins concluded, "I had to pivot when technology broke all the time. So I have not yet encountered a scenario at Costco that I wasn't prepared for by my career as a teacher."
That's bs
Is Ronny D in Florida seeing this?
Most teachers feel this way!
You're less likely to get killed working at Costco than you are working at a school.
Teachers in 2023
Who cares?
I would not be a teacher now. It must be horrible. I don’t blame her
Most of the so called Educators should be working at Costco or Walmart.
What state is this in? Teachers in Kalifornia make pretty good money depending on the district and tenured teachers make 6 figures. Of course, cost of Living is higher but they don’t have it bad by any means.
That’s a lie!
Many of the teachers I know are entitled. The complain and have 0 financial acumen. They can go pound sand. End tenure and pensions and give them a 401k plan to save their own money.
Move to Florida- 48k to start with lots of vacation
Teachers around here make $70k /yr and have almost free healthcare and a pension I get burn out in a job, but it’s definitely not low paying.
Why do teachers complain. Name another profession that has 2 or 3 months off with pay every year
You have to live within your means, no matter what career path you choose. Can't spend like Congress.
The retirement plans and healthcare are second to none. Well maybe second to congress
Why don't we hear about private school teachers having these type of issues?
