” Some aspects, though, were within her comfort zone—it’s her seventh film with Murphy, who she says is “willing to try on whatever you want; he doesn’t take an opinion about it, he lets you go for it.” Still: “You don’t want to fuss around with a comedian too much because a happy comedian is a funny comedian,” she says. “I make sure the clothes fit, they feel right, they look good, and he feels like he can play his character in it.” The magic starts in her studio.
