MLBrooklyn, NY12/25/2020This was absolutely amazing! I read the reviews and cut the tamari in half and the only other added salt was on the fish and I thought it was perfectly seasoned. I served it with some sauteed bok choy, julienned snow peas and scallions as well.

Followed the recipe exactly (but used low sodium soy sauce) and didn’t find it too salty. Will definitely be making this again!

I followed the advice of other comments and cut the soy sauce in half and found the saltiness level to be just right. pottsy.1990London, England9/30/2020Last week I made a miso-glazed salmon from a recipe from America's Test Kitchen. I had never used miso paste before and the recipe was simple enough. I did not like it; the salmon was dry and there was no sauce. I tried this recipe after reading lots of reviews mentioning that they had tried other miso recipes and they liked this one best. It was absolutely delicious! Very easy to make, the salmon was juicy and the maple-miso-glaze was outstanding. I only used one Tbsp of miso and 1 Tbsp of low sodium soy sauce just to keep my sodium down, but now I wonder if it was necessary as I actually ended up adding a little salt to it once it was finished. I will make this over and over again!! Thank you Bon Appetit!!

The salmon was cooked perfectly but the sauce was overwhelmingly salty and I like salty food. Could be that I used brown miso paste and dark soy sauce. Maybe with a lighter soy and different miso the outcome would be better.

Love any excuse to eat seasoned sushi rice. Subbed steelhead since it's all I could find this week and it was great. I agree with previous reviews that 2T of soy sauce AND 2T miso AND seasoning fish with salt is overkill. I used low-sodium soy sauce and found it all too salty. I'll make it again but skip the seasoning on the fish and reduce the amount of soy sauce in the glaze. headtopics.com
