This is **a hand surgeon** chosen by AH’s team, not **the hand surgeon** worked on Depp’s finger & has no knowledge other than what AH team gave him. In fact, he testified that he have never seen the injury (other than 2nd hand pic) and didn’t know where severed finger was found.
That was a very weak testimony based on guessing and hearsay.
The hand surgeon did not see Depps finger first hand and he also stated that the hand was flat on the bar! Incorrect information. As per Depps testimony his hand was over the edge of the bar.

Not sure how this headline can pass while not mentioning the prosecution's cross examination of the surgeon. In short, the Dr completely mischaracterized the position of his hand and never reviewed evidence of the scene.
Very disappointed in the time spent on this article. It’s not balanced. If you watch the cross, Depp’s team revealed he didn’t look at the evidence. SMH
The surgeon can't really say that as fact. He wasn't there and he wasn't the surgeon who saw JD so how is his testimony reliable.
