The Supreme Court on Tuesday declined the Biden administration's request that it put on hold a lower court order requiring the revival of the Trump-era"Remain in Mexico" immigration policy.
The court's three liberal justices publicly noted that they would have granted the request to halt the lower court's order.The controversial policy forces migrants to stay in Mexico as they await their US immigration court dates. It was suspended at the beginning of President Joe Biden's term and formally terminated months later.Texas and Missouri sued to challenge the Biden administration's termination of the program.
I am really in confusing, because there are millions of people are working and living on the work permits for many years in the America, but they are not giving the permanent documents why?

Honestly, they need to stay in Mexico. Or their country. I know it ain’t ideal, but we got some serious problems right now. This country is falling apart and families are suffering. I’m vaxxed and masked and it’s all still bullshit for us. We need to clean our own house.
AGs in MO and TX sued the Biden admin to reinstate the policy, claiming that the high number of asylum-seekers was burdening states without DHS’s being able to detain them. TX and MO argued that the admin had not gone through proper administrative procedures in ending the policy.
