The Supreme Court will hear arguments on Mississippi’s ban on abortions after 15 weeks. The U.S. Supreme Court announced Monday it will take up an abortion rights case seen as a major challenge to Roe v. Wade and what would be the first direct test on the issue for the court's new conservative majority, including the three justices nominated by PresidentThe Guardian or Authority of Law, created by sculptor James Earle Fraser, rests on the side of the U.S. Supreme Court on Sept.
The lone abortion clinic in Mississippi responded to the court's announcement calling the case a"strategy to eliminate abortion access entirely." Abortion remains legal in Mississippi and the ban will remain blocked as the Supreme Court reviews the case. "If this ban were to take effect, we would be forced to turn many of those patients away, and they would lose their right to abortion in this state. Mississippi politicians have created countless barriers for people trying to access abortion, intentionally pushing them later into pregnancy," Derzis said."It’s all part of their strategy to eliminate abortion access entirely.

Court risks its legitimacy if it decides to overturn 50 year old settled case law. Destroying the court, while consistent with Republicans’ hatred of the United States, will have 2nd order effects they cannot predict or manage.

I would hope Dems can overturn the filibuster and place more judges tocounter Moscow Mitch’s packing of the court.
'rollback of abortion rights.' How about, expansion of the rights of the unborn. 😁🇺🇲
Codify Roe v. Wade, or else a woman's right to choose won't be the only substantive due process right that will be wiped from American jurisprudence.
