Gone are the days when a Christmas tree had to be confined to being green with lights and ornaments. Trends like black Christmas trees and unicorn Christmas trees are taking over, and the results are seriously making us consider going a unique route this year. Among the fun looks are Christmas trees covered in sunflowers, all we have to say is “Wow!”
The sunflower is a fall flower, so you might think that it has no business gracing a winter holiday. Hey, that’s up to you! All we’re saying is that plenty of people have decked out their Christmas trees to look like a beautiful field. Twitter went insane last year when user @liyahbobeah posted a picture of her creation. It was decorated with sunflowers, gold ornaments, and a rustic garland. To make the sunflowers stay put, she made sure they still had long stems and just slid them right into the tree. It really couldn’t be easier, right? Artificial flowers over fresh ones would be your best bet so they don’t lose life through December.
Continue on to see how incredible a sunflower Christmas tree could look in your home. You can use various colors, dress it up with ornaments, or leave it simple for an impactful look. Does anyone else feel like putting up their tree, like, now?
Looks like something people in warm areas with no snow might be interested in doing with their Christmas tree.
Yeah, no, blocked.
Themed trees have existed for years. This is no different than a Star Wars tree or the Texas Tech tree at my house. Trendy? Hardly.
Maybe if I was setting them on fire.
No.
