Flu shots made with the same mRNA technology used in COVID-19 vaccine have entered human trials and might be available next year.

David Wenner | dwenner@pennlive.com

Pfizer and Moderna are each testing flu shots made with the same mRNA technology used with their highly-safe and effective COVID-19 vaccines, Bloomberg news reported on Wednesday. The trials will take place over the course of the upcoming flu season and the companies hope to have the new vaccines approved and available by late next year or early 2024. Trials taking place in multiple countries will involve more than 50,000 people.

The hope is that the mRNA technology, which allows vaccines to be produced at a faster pace, will lead to a more effective flu shot. Note to readers: if you purchase something through one of our affiliate links we may earn a commission.

The only way you can call the CV jab a success is if its entire purpose was to hurt and kill people. With that in mind, it’s been a success.

Define 'success'.

Cue trumpers and antivaxxers, cause to the science is scary

The evidence portrays an unsuccessful vaccine. Multiple boosters and “ breakthrough” infections.

Guinea pigs

Success? Is this really a success. I don’t think so. All of these spikes are because the experimental drug you call a vaccine.
