They found that the number of people getting less than six hours of sleep each night rose about 5% between 2010 and 2018.

The industries where sleep deficiency was most common were protective services and military, healthcare support , transportation and material moving and production . MakeIt Some hospitals have 12- or 16-hour shifts. Eight hours should be the max. A lot of mistakes happen after 8 hours, and you're usually dragging at the end of the shift. Plus, the extra days off don't really help.
