A federal judge in Providence, R.I., heard arguments Thursday in a case that tackles a novel question: Do students have a right under the U.S. Constitution to an education that prepares them to be capable citizens?

Maybe, but will they except their education?

High school education is a right

My guess the court will rule against the argument as there are way too many unknowns and changes going forward are so rapid that may be determined as adequate today will be obsolete in the near future.

Given what we see now, they at least need a comprehensive civics course. Turns out to be one of the most important and useful courses I took in high school.

Anything that requires the labor of others to exist, is not a right under the Constitution. Try again, snowflakes.

If yes, then I for one want more educational options. Superior public schools here in SF are...not public.

Plot twist: they get denied standing for being educated enough to ask that question.

Federal judges love to entertain novel questions. Otherwise they’d get so bored. 🙋🏻‍♂️
