Losses for the blue-chip gauge were led by International Business Machines Corp., down 6%, after falling short on revenues. The S&P 500 SPX, -0.08% was down 0.1% at 4,530.30, while the Nasdaq Composite COMP, +0.16% shed 0.1% to trade at 15,106.87.

No major injuries after plane runs off Texas runway, burnsBROOKSHIRE, Texas (AP) — No one was seriously hurt when an airplane bound for Boston ran off a runway and burned Tuesday morning near Houston, authorities said.
