Steps singer Ian 'H' Watkins has reportedly split from boyfriend Tom Hope after they were first linked in November last year

The chart-topper was first linked to Tom Hope back in November, but now sources say the couple have amicably decided to go their separate ways.Insiders added that they'll remain firm friends, but that H's commitment to his twins and work meant things didn't work out.

Pals told The Sun : "H and Tom had been getting along brilliantly but as time passed, H said he didn't feel he could commit."They're remaining friends and there is no bad blood between them."H and Tom made a lovely couple and their friends are supporting them as they move on.

H split from Craig Ryder, with whom he shares the twins, back in 2017.Early last year, he made Dancing On Ice history as one half of the show's first ever same-sex couple with US pro Matt Evers.He petitioned this year's show to continue the trailblazing by casting a transgender contestant for 2021.

And since his skating stint H has reunited with Steps co-stars Faye Tozer, Lee Latchford- Evans, Lisa Scott Lee and Claire Richards, sending fans into meltdown with the release of their sixth studio album, What The Future Holds.The band hope to be on the road again soon and to tour venues up and down the country once Covid rules permit.
