Things are looking brighter for Valve’s Steam Deck and its potential game library. On Friday, the companytitles that depend on Epic’s Easy Anti-Cheat software can now run on the portable. Valve said adding Steam Deck support to titles that utilize EAC is “a simple process.” Developers won’t need to update their SDK version or make other time-consuming changes.

” In practice, that should mean more of your favorite games will work with Valve’s handheld when itOf course, it’s one thing for Valve to make it easy for developers to ensure their games run without issue on Steam Deck and a completely separate thing for them to do the necessary work to ensure compatibility. Anti cheats are already supported with proton 4 months. DEV needed to adapt/deploy their game to use it. Now it is easier to do but DEVs still need to opt in and configure tools. But DEV still can opt out 😶! Jan 24th, Valve will begin auto tests 4 anti cheats game on Steamdeck.

but when are they gonna be released!
