has announced its newest original podcast, “Mind Body Wealth with Lauren Simmons,” hosted by NYSE’s youngest stock trader Lauren Simmons.
Premiering on Wednesday, September 29th, host Lauren Simmons will get real with listeners about their relationship with money. “Mind Body Wealth with Lauren Simmons” is an intimate conversation where people will be able to listen and shift their money mindset every Wednesday with Lauren and guests as she navigates the nuances of our personal relationships with money and finances along with showing listeners how to make money work for them so they can live their best life.
At the age of 22, Lauren became the youngest female trader in the history of the New York Stock Exchange as well as the second African American woman in the 229-year history of the New York Stock Exchange to have such a position. Lauren not only made history for the financial world but also for millennials and women of color who want to join prestigious institutions on Wall Street and beyond.
Lauren also detailed why she made the decision to leave the trading floor to pursue other interests. “I loved working on the trading floor. I genuinely mean that. Even making my small amount of money, I loved going into work every single day. But I did see that our clients were institutional clients, and they were all white men. And it was starting to frustrate me that there weren’t more women, and people of color, that were in those spaces. So because of that, I said, ‘I’d rather empower people to be financially savvy.
