JOHANNESBURG - South Africa’s confirmed cases of COVID-19 have crossed half a million, its health ministry said on Saturday, while cases in Africa as a whole approached a million.

Just over 3 million people have so far been tested for the virus in South Africa, which confirmed its first case five months ago, and 8,153 deaths have been recorded. Africa has recorded 934,558 cases, 19,752 deaths and 585,567 recoveries, according to a Reuters tally. The World Health Organisation’s top emergencies expert Mike Ryan last week warned that South Africa’s experience was a precursor for what was likely to happen across the continent.

Soccer returning in Africa with troubles and bio-bubblesThe soccer season in the southern African nation of Zambia has been cut short just two weeks after it resumed because of a coronavirus outbreak among top-flight clubs. I honestly find it offensive of the picture you have used that's not how Zambian stadiums looks like stop your useless reporting about Africa like it's a bush that's how the stadiums looks like stop painting Africa like if it bush or one village Show a picture from some top flight Zambian football, not some dudes kicking around in the dirt. Have some damn respect.
