The National Women’s Hall of Fame has announced a new group of inductees

FILE - Kimberle Crenshaw speaks during the 'Reconstruction: America After Civil War' panel during the PBS presentation at the Television Critics Association Winter Press Tour at The Langham Huntington on Feb. 2, 2019, in Pasadena, Calif. Crenshaw, 63, helped develop the academic concept of critical race theory, the idea that racism is systemic in the nation’s institutions.

Three women will be inducted posthumously: Dr. Patricia Bath , an early pioneer of laser cataract surgery and the first Black woman physician to receive a medical patent; Dr. Anna Wessels Williams , who isolated a strain of diphtheria that helped in its treatment; and Elouise Pepion Cobell, known as “Yellow Bird Woman” , who started the first bank established by a tribe on a reservation in Browning, Montana.

“I can go shopping alone most of the time, pretty well assured that I will not be followed or harassed. ... I can be sure that my children will be given curricular materials that testify to the existence of their race,” she wrote.

A Hall of Rivalry Fame is an Excellent Idea, Despite Coming From the Worst PlaceMichigan has fired an opening salvo when it comes to petty rivalry miscellanea, and it's a curveball that Ohio State should absolutely lean in to. I mean they stole helmet stickers from us 🤷🏻‍♂️ No, they should not! That is small thinking, low bar setting crap. OSU plays for Nattys. What's next, put up a statue for a coach that never won a natty.....like they did? Wouldn't we need to build a whole new building to house all the trophies from THE GAME over the last two decades?
