“Saturday Night Live” comics Colin Jost and Pete Davidson purchased a decommissioned Staten Island Ferry boat for $280,100 with plans to turn it into New York's hottest club. The 277-foot vessel shuttled commuters for nearly 60 years.

This combination of photos shows "Saturday Night Live" cast members Colin Jost at the premiere of "Avengers: Endgame" in Los Angeles on April 22, 2019, left, and Pete Davidson at the premiere of "Big Time Adolescence" in New York on March 5, 2020. The pair have purchased a decommissioned Staten Island Ferry boat with plans to turn it into New York’s hottest club.

Jost and Davidson teamed up with comedy club owner Paul Italia on Wednesday’s winning bid for the John F. Kennedy, a 277-foot vessel that shuttled commuters between the New York City boroughs of Manhattan and Staten Island from 1965 until it was taken out of service last August.

A floating nightclub on Staten Island- what could possibly go wrong? 🤣

That extra $100 must have really sealed the deal.

thelonelyisland AndySamberg better be the captain!

Hope they can clean it out, because the Kennedy was INFESTED with roaches and rats.

Awesome

HunterZThompson Nice to have money you don’t know what to do with

I think Steffon needs to make sure it's 'New York's hottest club.'

The sequel…

Best thing Pete Davidson ever did was get his face blown off in Suicide Squad.

What will Stefan say about this New York's hottest club?

Bed bugs, pizza rats and Staten Island yankee hats.

I'm on a boat, I'm on a boat Everybody look at me 'cause I'm sailing on a boat (whoa) I'm on a boat, I'm on a boat Take a good hard look at the motherfuckin' boat (shorty, shorty, yeah)

Rich showbiz ppl buying crap is not worthy of the AP.

well, what could go wrong there…… just require that everyone on board wears a lifejacket. no exceptions.

Could you please call it “Stefon Island Ferry”?

It’s got everything Pygmy yoga goats Full kombucha bar Circus performers from New Guinea Ariana Grande singing Meatloaf covers …..

Uh oh…the JFK ferry, the crazy Q people are going to be there…no thanks!

The snl comics are appropriating Serbian culture. And I'm not repeat not 'here for it'

Docking fees will be in the millions per day. This is a massive f/u.

Will it have Dan Cortez?

SalVulcano thoughts sir?

We had a decommissioned Riverboat in Biloxi that was converted into a club and it was called The Showboat (original, I know...I didn't name it!). IMHO - decommissioned boats make great clubs/casinos.

Whoever wrote that tweet for AP was channeling Stefon: '...New York's hottest club...' '...it's got everything; music, dancing, and a little person who goes around saying funny voice 'this is not the poop deck!'' 🙃 snl nbcsnl

I'm sure they'll let any average Joe in .

Is this some elaborate bit involving Bill Hader?

The Tightantic

Dartmouth_Diva Club Boaty mc boat face I called it is my trademark now

After all those racist jokes ColinJost made...

I love this if only for Stefon returning to promote it on Wekend Update.

Well the ship runs out of x and booze

Oh good that’ll hold all the people who actually think SNL is still funny.

That's pretty cheap

Great, let's get sea sick AND roofied

The Scarlett Kim

It will take them 60 years just to clean the grime off it, half of that time just for the bathrooms!

What could go wrong ? Um...everything. I love both of these gentlemen, but this seems like a really bad idea. I bet it was Pete's 🤣

WOT a splendid plan Colin Jost & Pete Davidson have cooked up to create New York's hottest club!

That’s pretty freaking cool!
