We wrote a lot of blogs, but these are the ones that stood out (to us)

and one common thread between states trying to ban abortion and people dying from pregnancy and childbirth is public officials prioritizing fetuses over the lives of living, breathing humans. The COVID vaccine rollout was no different.

Clinical trials routinely exclude pregnant people out of fear of harm to their fetuses and they were again excluded from COVID trials, which led to a lack of early safety data and seeming disagreement from global health agencies, the WHO and CDC. Pregnant people got conflicting information from their healthcare providers—and social media—and some opted not to get the shot until after they’d given birth.

How Inflation Has Changed Prices—and the Menu—at One Small BusinessRestaurant owner Judy Henry says she is juggling rising costs for everything from seafood to salaries. Shrimp has replaced scallops in one pasta dish, labor-intensive spring rolls are no longer offered, and the bread is no longer free. Inflation is made up problem. Are people celebrating this? Her employees get more pay but less hours to work and the diners get a lower quality meal/experience. We all know how this ends, closed doors. I regret to say that this approach of directly nickel and dime-ing customers for every little thing reduces visitor frequency and is often a precursor to shutting down. Just raise alcohol 30% and go back to the status quo on everything else and it’ll all work out.
