"If that were to occur, the net number of respirators being made available to the United States would actually decrease," 3M said."That is the opposite of what we and the Administration, on behalf of the American people, both seek.","We hit 3M hard today after seeing what they were doing with their Masks."
But the company has been criticized for how those respirators are being distributed — and with the U.S. now reporting more coronavirus cases than any other country, the thinking goes, U.S. companies should service the domestic market, and most importantly the national health care system, first.
Canada is the sole producer of a pulp product critical to the production of these masks, but has chosen not to halt exports of this product to the USA. One toddler in the room is enough.

I am curious how much these masks are sold for overseas? They talk about an ethical/humanitarian obligation to export to other countries that may not be hit as hard as what we experience in our own backyard.
