National Republican Senatorial Committee is going up earlier than ever before and spending big bucks to run ads in the key general election battleground states as it aims to win back Senate majority

Senatorial Committee is going up earlier than ever before and spending big bucks to run ads in the key general election battleground states.

Sen. Rick Scott of Florida, the chair of the National Republican Senatorial Committee, speaks to reporters at the Capitol on Feb. 15, 2022. The NRSC’s ferocious fundraising – it’s outraised its Democratic counterpart so far this cycle – is a key factor behind the massive ad reservation. "We’ve broken every fundraising record in the books so far this cycle and now we have the resources to show the American people that these radical Democrats have stood with Joe Biden 100% and supported his agenda that’s caused rampant crime, inflation to skyrocket, gas prices to rise and created a crisis at our southern border," she argued. The new ad reservation comes on top of the more than $3 million the NRSC’s already spent to run spots in New Hampshire, Arizona, Nevada and Georgia.

Some of his Republican colleagues, however, say that it could violate First Amendment protections. Cotton should read the U.S. Constitution. Could? Jesus. Of course it would. Come on. IIRC running Tory judges out of town on a rail after taring and feathering has an honored place in our revolutionary history with England.

GOP panics over ‘ultra-MAGA’ Pennsylvania Senate wild card Kathy BarnetteInfluential Republicans are having a belated 'oh s--t' moment over the previously unimaginable prospect that Kathy Barnette could win their party's nomination for the open Senate seat in Pennsylvania. Huh In Barnette, who's been soaring in the polls ahead of Tuesday's primary, Mitch McConnell would be dealing with a candidate who'd be an opposition researcher's dream — potentially endangering the GOP effort to take back the Senate. I literally never heard about her until today when I saw an ad for her. How is she soaring in the polls?
