Sen. Durbin on racial disparity in COVID-19 cases in Illinois: “In the 21st century it is unacceptable to have these gross health disparities, particularly against people who are African Americans.”

Illinois Senator Dick Durbin, the number two Democrat in the Senate, joins Andrea Mitchell to discuss how Congress needs to continue work on a bipartisan basis for coronavirus relief, which he says Mitch McConnell did not do before he attempted to

unanimously pass an expansion in small business loan funding to which Democrats objected. Sen. Durbin also discusses the racial disparity in the virus's impact seen in Illinois and across the country, which he calls "unacceptable" in the 21st century.

Durbin your a disgrace. And the people that voted for you deserve better. Vote this race baiter out of Washington and any other Democrat that is really a racist. Their a wolf in sheeps clothing. Don't trust them no matter what race, religion or gender you are. Demand better

Didn't MSNBC say that African Americans were immune to the virus in Feb. 2020! Guess they didn't tell the African Americans!!

You tell them, work on it

According to Sen Durbin, this virus needs some sensitivity training so it can effect every race equally. Any time an old white man starts talking about racial disparity, keep your hands on your wallets!

How many Americans of any ethnicity, color, race, whatever are currently COMPLETELY witthout ANY HEALTH INSURANCE and HAVE BEEN! This is not new!! The level of giving a shit is new! The current immediate threat is new, but LEADERS KNOW about DISPARITIES!! THEY DONT CARE!!

Senator I totally agree the answer and solution stand before you. Embrace the idea that you and colleagues and republicans must stop this bickering like little kids fighting over a single toy. That toy you all play with are my dreams for the USA.

He should give his seat in Congress to a black or brown person🙄😷

Now 'virus hotspots' are racist

The problem dosent have one night soloution it needs more investment and education on black communities

That's what you get with a racist POTUS

Right and who is responsible ? That would the party who's had a super majority in this state for 30 yrs

Gillibrand comments on what what needs to happen to make voting safer in America: “If we have an election we need to know that everyone who votes can be protected ... and that there’s enough time for everyone’s vote to be counted.” Her parents were apart of that sex cult Nixim I don’t trust ballot harvesting. I also don’t trust all those ballots that always seem to be miraculously found after the election. We need a real ID to pretty much live our lives, yet the most fundamental aspect of our government doesn’t if we just mail it in.

Sen. Klobuchar: ‘No one in America is going to tolerate this’Sen. Amy Klobuchar (D-MN) reacts to Republicans preventing the postponement of the Wisconsin primary. Sen. Klobuchar tells Lawrence O'Donnell now is the time to extend early voting and mail-in voting to reduce the spreading of coronavirus. Sen. Klobuchar also gives an update about her husband's recovery from coronavirus. 👍🏻🇺🇸🗳 Yeah, we need to listen to her even though the Democratic electorate in her own party largely ignored her. Since Traitor Trump likes to accuse others of what he is guilty of then most likely Traitor Trump has committed voter fraud by voting in both New York and Florida. But even if he did republicans would claim it's not a crime (when a republican does it that is).

Murphy: 'Of all of the horrificness out of the White House during the last three months, the president's total inability to be empathetic and to plug in to the grief and the terror of this disease, may be the most alarming.' Sen. Kamala Harris on The View: 'The buck stops' with Trump on nation's coronavirus responseSen. Kamala Harris told TheView that she would be “honored” if she is considered as a potential running mate for Joe Biden, but “I have to be very, very honest with you — I am full-time focused on what we need to do to address the coronavirus.” TheView I will never vote for Biden if Kamala is his running mate. She is way too racist to potentially be in charge of the country. TheView Why not? TheView Didn’t she imply Biden was racist?
