Selena Gomez to Potentially Launch Beauty Line

, according to the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office, the songstress' production company, July Moon, filed a trademark for “Selena Gomez” on July 11 for beauty products including “fragrances, cosmetics, skin-care preparations, hair-care preparations, soaps, moisturizers and essential oils."

Though this line is a first for Gomez, she previously released a fragrance in 2011 with Adrenalina Inc. Furthermore, she's appeared in a number of fashion campaigns, including recent ones with Coach and Puma. Gomez's venture will follow in the steps of other superstars before her, including Rihanna, Lady Gaga and Hailey Bieber.
