See California's shipping gridlock in motion

Cargo ships are literally circling off the ports of Los Angeles and Long Beach, waiting to offload critical household goods and manufacturing supplies. To visualize the recent supply-chain gridlock, CNN used location data transmitted by each container ship and collected by MarineTraffic. When animated in a time-lapse video, dozens of vessels can be seen maneuvering in holding patterns 10 to 20 miles offshore. Another group of ships is moored closer to shore. Container ships move inland to the port only occasionally.

Close the boarder, build the wall, stop Exports & Imports of any type, stop every & anyone from getting citizenship, & deport everyone who should not be here. It's the ONLY SAFE WAY TO REGAIN A STABLE ECONOMY, SOCIETY, & GOV. Locking down ppl inside our country is moronic.

During the beginning of the Covid pandemic, wasn’t America shipping more products to China than China was sending to America because they were in lockdown? The data seems incomplete and purposefully manipulating of the viewers.
