Seahawks DE Darrell Taylor wheeled off field after neck injury Sunday night

Seattle Seahawks defensive end Darrell Taylor was injured so severely in Sunday night's game at Pittsburgh that he was put onto a gurney, had his facemask taken off and his head strapped down as medics wheeled him off the field.

He was injured trying to make a play during the game Sunday at Heinz Field, which was tied at 17-17 when it happened. Taylor appeared to be moving his legs and talking to medical personnel as he was tended to on the field. While this was happening, the Seahawks players left their sideline to stand behind the medics, as did the Steelers players. Meanwhile, there was almost silence at the stadium.
