The catch with every tune though was Villaseñor noticing several of the year's nominated films featured "white male rage.", initially providing a summary of the film in her song and touching on visual highlights of the movie, such as Arthur Fleck dancing down a flight of city steps. She then segued into what the Todd Phillips film was truly focused on — not the Joker or even Batman, but "white male rage, white male range, white male rage" she sang.
LOL, nobody with an ounce of intelligence watches SNL.
'Joker' is one of the few films to actually make note that most mental ill, especially the violent kind, stem from child abuse. This easy gag just obfuscates any discussion of that kind of topic or others. I think the movie is flawed, but this gag isn't woke, it's too easy. Lazy.

SNL has become nothing more than a parody of itself...a complete joke
power to the people. but you are right, all of the people. but don't get trapped into the maze of secondary contradictions that feel as good as progress, but wash out in the next cohort or two. it's a method. rage is not always a bad thing regardless of biology.

It's pretty awesome how she's able to deny, belittle and subvert any expression of emotion. Is there any sort of nuance to what men feel? Nope. Women cry at chick flics. guys experience white male rage during...fast and the furious i guess. Glad to see people reduced.
White men must have no problems at all.
They just can`t get over the fact the movie was a giant success.
Too bad they can’t say angry black women or angry black men, because there is certainly plenty of those types as well.
