The candidates make a last-minute push as Nevada prepares to hold a pivotal caucus as President Donald Trump holds a rally on the eve of the vote.As Nevada voters head to caucus sites on Saturday, it will be the first chance for the west and a diverse electorate to weigh in on the 2020 presidential race.
Based on ABC analysis of preliminary entrance polls, there has been a decline in the participation of racial and ethnic minorities.Hispanic caucusgoers joined young and very liberal Nevadans in backing Bernie Sanders in the state’s Democratic caucuses, and he won broad support among those focused on two of his signature issues: health care and income inequality.

I mean, we could wake up in 10 days with Senator Sanders with a prohibitive lead, or we could wake up on the road to a unified party, and obviously, that’s our focus," he said.Campaign volunteers stand outside the Nevada Caucus site at Liberty High School in Henderson, Nevada, U.S. February 22, 2020. CBS News first reported that the campaigns were informed by party leaders about a"deficit of volunteers." One Nevada Democratic Party official also told ABC News that the party has"the coverage that we planned for." According to the party, there is an average of eight volunteers per caucus site so roughly more than 2,000 volunteers across the state."
Whites account for 65% of caucus-goers in preliminary ABC News entrance poll results, compared with about 90% in Iowa and New Hampshire. Hispanics make up 18% of Nevada participants; blacks, 10%.
I really think much of the divide is generational. But I also think the older side understands whats at stake and will get behind the whoever becomes the nominee, but will the young folk?

In spite of the article ´If Sen. Sanders wins the nomination´ by NBS News.
Of course the young of today don’t want to work. They want it all for free. Bernie promises that.
The young voters are seeing all the free money that Bernie is promising them, but do not understand that they will be paying for that free money for the rest of their lives. Eventually, the national debt will get so large that taxes will have to be increased to just make payments
anyone who remembers the USSR knows not to vote for him
This is because our education system and media failed to educate our youth on exactly what communism/socialism is. Also proves with the Latino votes these Latinos did not flee their homeland out of fear of communism/socialism/poverty because that is exactly what Sanders is doing.
Far less better but what’re the numbers?
Get ready for a 52% income tax on gross income
“Thumping”. Nice torque job, ABC
Chalk that up to experience and wisdom.
The Democrats need to get there shit together and reduce the runners. Are Bernie will take it and lose to Trump. I don't thi k Bernie can beat Trump.
Sanders can’t expect to be a popular choice among the majority of convention delegates. It’s also too much to expect they will commit wholeheartedly to promoting his far left, impractical, agenda that would imperil the full slate of other party candidates.
Is is hard to run against “free stuff.”
There’s the spin
And one day all of those under 45 will be over 45 and realize what is the right way and what is the wrong way. With a little more of life experiences they will come to their senses !!!!! Time and experience are the best educators!!!!!!
That's why we rarely trust the opinions of children that haven't live life for very long. They just don't know!
People that haven't been indoctrinated and understand socialism has ruined many previously healthy countries say no to Bernie. Scary younger voters buy into the idea government control of anything is good. Hint: Nothing is free.
