The crash at Almaden Expressway and Foxworthy Avenue left the driver and a third pedestrian injured.

SAN JOSE – A driver hit and killed two pedestrians Tuesday night in San Jose, police said.

Police said the pedestrians were pronounced dead at hospitals. A third pedestrian suffered injuries police described as not life-threatening.The deaths marked the city’s sixth and seventh roadway fatalities of the year and the fourth and fifth to involve pedestrians.
