The 43-year-old said he was 'shocked' by the move and blasted the team's 'politically correct' environment.

News that Huff will not be invited at the reunion this summer was first reported by, who spoke with the player after the Giants released their statement."Quite frankly, shocked," he was quoted as saying."Disappointed. If it wasn't for me, they wouldn't be having a reunion. But if they want to stick with their politically correct, progressive bullshit, that's fine."

Drafted by the Tampa Bay Devil Rays in the sixth round of the 1998MLBdraft, Huff made his debut in the majors two years later and spent a further six seasons with the team.Following spells with the Houston Astros, Baltimore Orioles and Detroit Tigers in the next three seasons, he moved to San Francisco in January 2010.

In his first season in the Bay Area, he played 157 games, hitting .290 with 26 homers and 86 RBIs.Huff hit a two-run homer in Game 4 of the 2010 World Series as the Giants thrashed the Texas Rangers 4-0, en route to clinch a 4-1 series win.Two years later, Huff and San Francisco repeated the trick, sweeping the Detroit Tigers 4-0 in the World Series.
