DUBLIN - Ryanair hopes to place additional orders for Boeing’s freshly approved 737 MAX in talks that are set to conclude late this year or in early 2021, CEO Michael O’Leary said in an interview on Tuesday. “I think it is important for Boeing to announce some customer orders and we would certainly be very keen to be at the front of the queue because the MAX 200 is a great aircraft,” O’Leary said, referring to the 197-seat variant of the plane.

Asked whether the orders would be in addition to the 135 firm orders and 75 options that Ryanair currently has for the MAX 200, O’Leary said he could not comment because the talks were confidential.

Nope, not getting on one of those. Glad Ryanair will be buying them up (cheap?), though: I only flew with them once and hated every moment of it, from booking process consisting entirely of 'extras' to constant bombardment with overloud announcements (ads) during flight. No thx.

Smart move. I’ve lived near Boeing plant all my life. It will be the safest plane on planet now. Even if error wasn’t in their wheelhouse when building it, everyone who put a hand or an engineering brain on the 737-Max took every loss of life personally. I know these workers

Think I'm maxed out on that thing

Yeah im not flying that ever.

There won’t be a queue

no fxxxing way..

I won't be flying with them if that's true.

If that's the case then NO THANKS TONY

horrible
