Ron DeSantis, Florida governor and possible GOP presidential contender, coming to Alabama

In a Facebook post, the Alabama Republican Party said DeSantis will be the special guest and keynote speaker at its annual Winter Dinner. The dinner planned for Thursday, March 9 in the Birmingham Sheraton Ballroom. Tickets are $250 per person or $400 per couple.DeSantis was reelected Florida’s governor in November after defeating Democratic challenger, former Rep. Charlie Crist, by 19 points, the largest spread seen in the state in four decades.
