Rod Rosenstein, the former deputy attorney general who oversaw the Russia investigation, will testify about the probe Wednesday as President Trump seeks to undo its impact on his administration.

As deputy attorney general, Rod Rosenstein oversaw the Russia investigation for two years, pushing back on White House criticism and declaring it wasn’t the “witch hunt” that President Trump had claimed.

His testimony comes as Trump and his allies pursue a sweeping campaign to undo the results of the special counsel investigation, which ended in March 2019 after producing charges or convictions against 34 people., Trump’s former national security advisor and the only former White House official charged in the probe. Flynn pleaded guilty to lying to federal agents but later claimed he was innocent.Barr and Rosenstein stood side by side when they released Mueller’s final report last year.

The legal and political tumult over the Russia probe reflects Trump’s enduring anger over an investigation that cast a shadow over the first two years of his administration.Mueller did not establish a criminal conspiracy between the president’s team and Moscow, which spread disinformation on social media and hacked Democratic Party emails during the 2016 presidential race.

LA Times buried the Rosenstein lies/ coup to take down POTUS on page A7! Surprised they didn’t use smaller font to hide it even further! Pathetic reporting from media again. Plus, I have heard no mention on main stream TV news. Obama and his team should be held accountable.

Rod Rosenstein - June 3 . . responding to Senator Durbin ' . . I certainly understand the President's [Trump] frustration given the outcome that there was no evidence of conspiracy between Trump campaign advisors and the Russians.'

Ah . . that scathing report from the FISA Court - oh right, the LAT's, nor most of the MSM ever reported that, did they. Keeping the electorate in the dark.

Russian meddling in our election. We seem to always forget that on Dec 16th, 2016 Pres Obama told the nation that he'd paddled Putin, and that was the end of it. Apparently he lied. . or, was everyone else lying?

Rosenstein's statement seems to say . . 'all of this 'new' information (as if he was not aware) has raised the stakes in this investigation, and it would seem that some accountability is past due.'

Sen Whitehouse seems to forget history . .about DOJ, etc. not answering questions. Do we not remember that oversight requested Hillary Clinton's State Dept emails and it took over 2 yrs as State couldn't find them? Why? The private insecure server, and 2nd, DOJ, FBI blocked

This and what’s to come is really what the organized chaos and “protestors” are about. They are a distraction. ObamaGate

ObaMAGAte begins!!!

Waste of time, we already know Trump is a traitor

He will say nothing or lie.
