Netflix's animated series Kung Fu Panda: The Dragon Knight adds Rita Ora to its cast. The Kung Fu Panda franchise kicked off in 2008 with the release of the first film, an animated family feature with anthropomorphized animals set in ancient China. Jack Black voiced the protagonist Po, a clumsy panda said to be the legendary Dragon Warrior, who must put his skills to the test to save his valley.

An official Netflix casting announcement for Kung Fu Panda: The Dragon Knight announced that Black will be joined by Rita Ora, and also confirmed the return of James Hong. Ora is voicing Wandering Blade, a formidable English bear knight who joins Po on his journey. Hong will be reprising his role as Mr. Ping, Po's adoptive father, a character he has played throughout the Kung Fu Panda film trilogy and the animated shows.

"Jack Black returns to KUNG FU PANDA in the new series KUNG FU PANDA: THE DRAGON KNIGHT. When a mysterious pair of weasels set their sights on a collection of four powerful weapons, Po must leave his home to embark on a globe-trotting quest for redemption and justice that finds him partnered up with a no-nonsense English knight named Wandering Blade voiced by Rita Ora.
