PA Images via Getty Images: Britain’s finance minister has resigned amid a dramatic cabinet reshuffle that has seen Prime Minister Boris Johnson sack some of his most staunch supporters in government.
A source close to Javid told the BBC: “The prime minister said he had to fire all his special advisors and replace them with Number 10 special advisers to make it one team. The chancellor said no self-respecting ministers would accept those terms.”
