Las autoridades consulares estarán ofreciendo sus servicios de pasaporte, matrícula consular y credencial de elector en diferentes centros comunitariosla nueva variente del COVID, el consulado de El Salvador en Los Ángeles implementó este servicio. Las primeras pruebas las realizaron la segunda semana de diciembre. A la fecha han atendido a más de 1.000 usuarios.
Con el nuevo servicio, que estará disponible a partir del 24 de enero, los usuarios van a recibir exámenes y vacunas, no importa si es la primera o segunda dosis, o si se trata del refuerzo. “Principalmente es un beneficio para nuestros usuarios; sin embargo, es un servicio abierto para toda la comunidad”, subrayó Letona, dejando claro que la gente puede llegar solo por este servicio sin importar si son originarios de El Salvador o no.
“Estas pruebas son para ayudar a la comunidad, más que todo para personas sin seguro médico”, dijo la encargada de realizar los exámenes.
