"You guys have to excuse my appearance, I just got off the Peloton because I needed to release some tension, I needed to release some stress," Lindsay said on a video posted on"I honestly... didn't want to have to do this. To be honest, I'm tired. I'm so tired of feeling like I have to be the one to say something."
It seems like Lindsay also had a word with Brown herself on why she should have never used the racial slur during her Instagram Live on Saturday night—even if she was just singing along to a song. "I never wanted to speak on this, I never wanted to say anything, I'm honestly tired of feeling like I have to speak because other people won't [...] I'm personally offended by what was done... to start from the beginning, last night when everything popped off," Lindsay said."I didn't see it but I woke up to a bunch of messages today, basically telling me what happened, so I tried to do something a little different.
"Maybe it was a mistake, maybe they didn't realize the intention behind it," Lindsay said."So, let me give them opportunity to now use their platform to correct that mistake. I am personally hurt and offended that I gave someone the opportunity to do that and it wasn't done. Now, I understand that an apology was made but when I know what could have been done, when I know what I challenged someone to do... they refused to do it, or they did not do it.
As a result, Lindsay then felt it was necessary to use her own platform to speak on the reason why the slur should not be used.
And she didn’t listen.
I'm confused by who can use that word. I understand white people can't and black people can. I'm friends with someone whose mixed. Are they allowed?
Good that they spoke. An apology was made but now everyone is being raked over the coals. This is not progressive. It’s still division and hate. I feel empathy on both sides. Sad that this pitting of white against black and black against white is still happening.
Ridiculous
What she say tho
Where did she say the n word? Is there a video if so can someone post it!!
nobody cares what TheRachLindsay has to say. She is nobody in this conversation. Hannah did nothing wrong but sing the lyrics to a song. If you don't want people to use that word than you shouldn't use it as well in song lyrics. It's hypocritical. Take your own advice.
Why can’t we sing a song without it being racist
TheRachLindsay should let God be the judge
So y’all in the comments wait your against someone speaking up towards racism?
This is one of my best songs OrNah 🤘✌️⚡️ I hope you like it and enjoy it. Good vibes ⚡️🌈🌤️ TheSamu RT Apple Music Tidal Youtube Deezer Spotify ⬇️⬇️
WHO CARES
Black people should stop using it as well.. It is said a lot by black people that some might think it’s ok to sing it or even say it
is her next call to PostMalone Eminem or any other white artist who have used that word? like it’s a song. get over it.
What does hold accountable mean? Hannah apologized. What should she do next to be held accountable?
Gtfoh lmao
