Texas drag race driver slams into spectators, killing 2 kidsA driver lost control during a Texas drag racing event on an airport runway and slammed into a crowd of spectators, killing two children and injuring eight other people, authorities say. A 6-year-old boy and an 8-year-old boy were killed in the crash. Coulda gone the day without knowing that, thanks. Prison for life! A very similar thing happened several years ago in TN. Afterwards, safety regulations were put into place for events like this. I don’t know if that would happen in today’s TN. But this was long enough ago that words like “safety” and “regulations” weren’t anathema to the GOP.

They're held in jail, sometimes without legal help, for weeks. but many of the cases are dropped before prosecution. So isn't that illegal detention and impunity on the part of USA? Latino groups sue over Texas redistrictingThe lawsuit was filed as the Texas Legislature was nearing completion of U.S. House maps that shore up Republicans and do not add additional Latino majority districts, even though Latinos account for more than half of the state’s growth. Illegals can't vote unless democrats pass their freedom to vote act. It pretty much allows anyone to vote and they prohibit any verification process with 80% of registered voters believing there's nothing wrong with IDs. It’s called fighting voter fraud.
