PARIS — Hundreds of black-clad protesters clashed with officers at the end of a demonstration against police violence in Paris on Saturday after masked protesters launched fireworks, put up barricades and threw stones.
Police fired tear gas and stun grenades to disperse the crowds and in the early evening, a water cannon sprayed remaining groups of protesters on Place de la Bastille. The bill would make it a crime to circulate images of police officers in certain circumstances, which opponents say would limit press freedom.

That's a complete lie it wasn't peaceful from the start. They burnt down many businesses, and rioted for hours injuring many people. At least hashtag it you can see all the carnage your 'peaceful' protesters carried out.
