There is also a chance for Tucson to see its first 110 degree day of this year over the weekend, according to the NWS. 

"By then it's already mid-June, so it's not like it's unheard of a 110 degrees in mid-June in Tucson. It will be about ten degrees above normal with 110, but it's been there before" Gary Zell, a meteorologist for the NWS in Tucson, said.
