The NBC News/Marist poll also shows incumbent Republican Sen. Thom Tillis trailing by 10 percentage points in his hotly contested reelection race against Democrat Cal Cunningham. A majority of likely voters, 53 percent, support Cunningham, while 43 percent support Tillis. Theof recent North Carolina Senate polling has Cunningham with a 3.1-point lead.
The NBC News/Marist poll was conducted Oct. 25-28, surveying 800 North Carolina likely voters with a margin of sampling error of plus or minus 4.7 percentage points.
