Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell said that Americans have the right to peacefully protest, but added that the protesters’ “actions were unacceptable. There is no place for hate in Kentucky.”

by a local freelance journalist, Gerry Seavo James, the song “God Bless the USA” can be heard playing in the background.

The gathering began as a Second Amendment rally, but morphed into a protest against coronavirus public health measures,“Doing this in front of our Capitol, just a short walk from where the Governor, First Lady, and their two young children live, is an act that reeks of hate and intimidation and does nothing but undermine our leading work to battle this deadly disease and restore our economy safely,” the House Democratic leadership said in a statement...

Leading to the old adage “If the media loves you, you are no longer a Republican,”. No longer one of the brothers. 🗿🇺🇸🗽🤷🏾‍♂️🧑🏿‍💻💀☠️🤢🤮

Sick folks which Trump breeds and encourages. He does not step up and denounce people with this hate.

senatemajldr — didn’t hear you say anything about the weapons in the Michigan statehouse.

Mitch McConnell and the Republican Senate should be held criminally accountable for enabling this president to unleash this carnage on America. They won't be because laws are written to benefit those who write them. We CAN vote the LEADERS out for starters! End their tenure!

Mitch McConnell, you the president and the rest of the Republican party have instigated encouraged and condone this behavior. Oh I forgot that wonderful human being Rand Paul. November delay, denial, mistruths. You guys drank the Kool-Aid in 2016 now you going to drink the bleach

Really? and this is coming from Moscow Mich.

Well maybe their tired of you

So you're leaving?

Is he a Kentucky Colonel?

It's Kentucky. No surprise or breaking news here. It's who they are and have been for years upon years. So carry on. This will happen in some variation over something different next year in Kentucky.

timstelloh Your above article omitted three very important critical components: 1) Little kids were front and center watching this. Hate is learned. 2) Who the group was that did this despicable hanging and what they stand for. 3) They ignored the yellow police tape.

Hours later a response. Sadly young children watched this hate crime. 😞What are you going to do about it? senatemajldr

Well u uneducated old men need to leave and get ppl who actually have a brain to run things. What a disgrace

He must not spend a lot of time there.

Well, where did they learn this kind of behavior?

“We demonstrate enough hate with our policies.” Right, Mitch?

Says the biggest hater....... I pray McConnell is defeated in November.

MM shows hate all the time for the people of this USA.

having it both ways Republicans have been like this.

Really? Is there place for it in DC? He enabled it there by not removing an impeached trump.

When you don’t intervene when the problems are small you end up with more outrageous bigger problems.

They subliminally promote this behavior then make these quick statements pretending they don’t support it when the WhiteSupremacists are too blatant with it. 🙄

This is happening because of you and your administration. Good going Mitch

They show their lack of Class

OMG-Omniabsolute Gravitational-Constant: Thus protesting isn't an ACTION but a reaction. Metamorphosize, inspirit & commend 🇺🇸USA's {Second Coming of Jesus Christ's ultimate & complete Consummation}='Holy Soul'. In this EPOCH on Earth & all is well & satisfied until ETERNITY!$!$

Here's a picture of Kentucky legislator SavannahLMaddox posing with the domestic terrorism group. She seems right at home. Those are her voters!

If there's 'no room for hate' in Kentucky, when is that hate-filled little cuss (Mitch McConnell) leaving?

Effigies have been a part of political protests around the world for centuries. G.W. Bush was hanged in effigy at nearly every protest for years. Not a peep from you about it. Now your panties are in a bunch because it's a politician you like getting the treatment. Phony outrage.

Weak

So, both sides, right MoscowMitch?

Wow Moscow Mitch those are some pretty strong words (not). How would you react if someone did that to IMPOTUS45?

The man’s name is Jeffrey Bush. Why doesn’t someone go talk to him personally. I can prove he’s a big “white power fan”!

Kentucky is his state where he enables hate, daily!

He aint the last and only one. He'll get what any communist deserves. YOU deny our constitutional RIGHTS and there will be a price to pay.

'There is no place for hate in Kentucky.” Really Mitch ? Is that why you and the other R. Senators turned your backs on the solemn oath you took to become a Senator?

Buh bye senatemajldr

Too late, Mitchy

But, McConnell isn't willing to step up to the plate and do anything about it. Words are one thing. Actions are another. It's easy to step in front of a camera and say something. Acting on something (in this case, the effegy) is different. McConnell needs to act, not talk.

VoteGOPOut

Say what?

Well the GOP has no problem with hate in the Senate, House or the White House. You're a hypocrite senatemajldr

lol, he knows HES from KY right?

That’s gonna lose him some “white boy” votes.

You can’t condemn what happens in our state but let the WH get by with some of the same racist ideals & practices. Hypocrite. He’s surrounded by this same level of douchery on a daily basis.

L. O. L.

Imagine listening to someone telling you how you can protest

Americans can protest yes! Proud American!
